We like to think of ourselves as generally optimistic people. Yes… We’re the ones getting perpetually blindsided (by CHILDREN’S authors) when one of the good guys suddenly turns out to be a traitor. We’re like- “Wait. What!?! You can’t be Evil! No. No. No. No. No!” And yet we’re still shocked when our refusal to believe it [or our temper-tantrum] doesn’t seem to make it any less true. Still… we keep on trying! Okay, okay. So maybe we’re not ‘generally optimistic’ but rather the “eternal optimists’” ha. But don’t be fooled, our knack for looking on the bright side of life doesn’t mean we aren’t constantly starving for some really great analytical discussion. We absolutely love theoretical consideration and intellectual debate. What we mean by that is- we’re some HUGE suckers for the-real-deal chit chat. Yeah, we said it- we’ve got a longing for the nitty-gritty. That’s why we decided to dedicate such an area to our rants. But hold on to your horses there, and let our optimism speak for a second. The poor little word ‘rant’ has gotten quite a bad rap for being “Mr. Negativity”. But we think he’s just misunderstood because rants don’t have to always be negative. It’s our belief that wearing those sunglasses of critique is a critical component of life. And so we say, “hey- sport those sexy things!” After all, we’re only wearing sunglasses because the sun is shining and when it’s shinin’ there’s always something to be happy about or grateful for. So if this all goes as intended, this may just turn out to be our favorite corner of BBTV. But then again, that can only happen if you, our loyal follower and friend, allow us the freedom to speak from our hearts. And we promise to give you the same consideration, as well as take part in, what we hope will be, extremely fruitful dialogues. So grab your sunglasses and hop on board so that we can start sailing into the more serious topics of life.
